Is this deck size right for me?
Nine inches and wider is often chosen for pools, ramps, cruising and shaped setups, but can also work for street skating. Age does not determine deck size. On a shaped deck, check the outline: its widest point may not be where your feet or trucks sit.
Your fit comes first. Height, shoe size, stance and riding style help you choose a starting point. Bigger feet may prefer more room; height also affects how much length and stance space feels comfortable. There is no fixed sizing rule—personal preference gets the final say.
